Hello, I am writing to you about the kubo fruit. I have been looking for contacts in Israel for several months, I have read the research of Yossef Mizrahi who is at the origin of the selection of the kubo. Would you agree to put me in contact with farmers who grow it. I am in the south of France and I would like to import some.

Kind regards Tristan Roche tristan_roche@hotmail.com

Hello, good for you that you're looking so deeply into Israel's fruits! But I'm sorry, I don't know of any contacts that can help with this. All the best!

Hello, I understand but could you help me?

You are the only person I found on the internet who filmed these cactus fields.

Do you have the exact location of a field? I don't want to take up too much of your time especially since I saw that you are a doctor but your help would be really valuable to me.

With the location I could look at the surrounding businesses or bed and breakfasts to get more information about the cactus.

Sincerely, Tristan Roche

I'm sorry but I really don't know what to tell in terms of exact locations. All I can say is that there is a small patch in the entrance to the town of Lachish. (That's not where this article is from - I don't know where exactly we were then.) I'm not sure if that one is privately owned, but it doesn't look like it. Good look!

Those little munchkins eagerness to learn is so cute, that reminds me of my childhood when myself and dad came to one of his colleagues lake to collect submerging water plants - hydrilla and vallisneria as a part of biological classwork, my social sciences teachers are so encouraging, hope they're well, nice work of that desert plant shmuel!

Thank you Shakina! It's so important for us to connect to the natural world as children.

Great post, as always. Very interesting that the gazan workers got killed by their fellow gazans; I wonder if there's a back story there.

Next time, bring me some Kubo, too!

Thank you!

It seems they murdered anyone who was working peacefully with Israelis.

I've got you for the Kubo.
